Barbara Wood

Barbara Wood has extensive experience in the art field, currently serving as the Image Permission Coordinator at the National Gallery of Art since February 1996, alongside a term appointment as Assistant Loans Officer in the Department of Loans and the National Lending Service. Prior to this role, Barbara Wood gained experience as a curatorial intern at Bayerische Staatsgemäldesammlungen, Neue Pinakothek in 1995. Barbara Wood holds a Master of Arts in Art History from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from the University of Maryland, complemented by early education at The German School of Washington.
