Emily Leffler Schulman

Emily Leffler Schulman currently serves as the Head of Product Architecture, Digital Experience at the National Gallery of Art, beginning in May 2024. Prior to this role, Emily was the Principal Software Lead at Alley from January 2020 to May 2024, where responsibilities included managing a $1.8M portfolio, cultivating a high-performing team, and overseeing collaborations for notable clients in various sectors. Emily's extensive experience also includes roles as a Senior Software Developer, Digital Consultant, co-founder of Mobtown Studios LLC and Mobtown Doulas, LLC, and Director of Front-End Development at Sickweather. Emily’s early career featured a position as Digital Media Specialist for the U.S. Department of State, where significant contributions were made to internal media channels. Educational credentials include degrees from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and Oberlin College.
