Rachel Trinkley

Rachel Trinkley is currently the Manager of Interpretation in the Division of Learning and Engagement at the National Gallery of Art, a position held since January 2017. Prior to this role, Rachel served as the Director of Education at Explore! Children's Museum of Washington, D.C., from May 2015 to December 2016, and as the Manager of K-12 Learning at the Smithsonian National Museum of Asian Art from September 2014 to May 2015. Rachel's career in museum education began at the Columbus Museum of Art, where from May 2008 to September 2014, Rachel held the position of Assistant Director of Learning and additionally served as a Curatorial Assistant, Educator for Docent Programs, and Manager of Facilitated Experiences. Rachel holds a Master of Arts in Art History from Ohio State University and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Art from Saint Mary's College.
