Kanesan Nathan has held various marketing and communications roles in the arts industry, including at the National Gallery of Australia, Victorian Opera, and Australian Brandenburg Orchestra. Kanesan has experience in planning and managing marketing campaigns for concert series and subscription seasons, as well as developing strategies in line with artistic briefs and budgetary requirements. Additionally, Kanesan has worked as a Marketing Coordinator/Development Executive and Publicist at the Adelaide Fringe. Graduating with a postgraduate degree in Arts Management from the University of South Australia in 2005.
