Jessica Sharkey

Jessica Sharkey currently serves as a Teaching Assistant in the History of Art and Architecture Department at Trinity College Dublin since May 2024. Jessica has been a PhD Candidate at the National Gallery of Ireland since June 2019, where roles include Tour Guide, providing engaging discussions on the National Collection with a focus on Old Masters and notable Irish artists. Jessica has also contributed as a Studio Facilitator for the Summer Studio, encouraging creative engagement with the collection. From June 2023 to July 2024, Jessica acted as Visiting Curator at The Robert Henri Museum and Gallery, assisting in exhibition design and research on Robert Henri. Previously, Jessica held a Curatorial Intern position at the same museum and completed life drawing classes at RHA School in early 2022. Jessica earned a Bachelor's degree in History of Art and Architecture and Philosophy from Trinity College Dublin between 2019 and 2023.
