Derek Woo is a seasoned Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in the gas and energy sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Integrity Engineer at National Gas since July 2023, Derek previously held the position of Senior Mechanical Engineer at Cadent Gas Limited, where expertise was provided for hydrogen transportation projects. Prior to that, Derek worked as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer at DNV GL, focusing on the design of onshore natural gas installations and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Derek's earlier career involved integrity-related services in the Oil & Gas industry, covering pressure vessels, pipelines, and associated infrastructure. Derek holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Birmingham, earned from 2007 to 2011.
