Thomas Barron

Thomas Barron is an experienced procurement and contracts professional, currently serving as Category Manager for Property & Mobility at National Gas since February 2023. Previously, Thomas held various roles at National Grid from October 2009 to January 2023, including Senior Procurement & Contracts Lead and Contract Manager, where responsibilities included managing change requests, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring contract management frameworks were effectively implemented. Thomas began a career at LDV as a Graduate Parts Sales Analyst. Educational qualifications include MCIPS certification from the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply and a BA Hons in Accounting & Business Management from the University of Derby.
