Kaj Schwermer

Kaj Schwermer is an accomplished educator and author with extensive experience in English Language Teaching (ELT) and curriculum development. Since January 2018, Kaj has co-authored notable educational resources, including National Geographic Learning's flagship course, Our World 2e, and Macmillan Education's New Standard English 2e, a major project in partnership with FLTRP in China. With a strong background at Oxford University Press, Kaj co-authored the award-winning Oxford Phonics World and has conducted numerous workshops for teachers across Asia. Additional roles include curriculum consultancy for Weblio and Suma Gakuen, where Kaj held managerial positions in the English and International Departments. Kaj is the founder of Eureka Learning Institute, a chain of private language schools in Osaka, and has contributed to multimedia development for Cambridge University Press titles. Kaj holds a Bachelor of Applied Science from Simon Fraser University, focusing on Mass Communication and Media Literacy.
