Eric Denker is a highly experienced art historian, currently serving as Senior Lecturer and Head of Tours and Lectures at the National Gallery of Art since June 1978. Denker holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from the University of Virginia, where the dissertation focused on Whistler Portraits. Additionally, Denker earned a Master's Degree in Nineteenth Century Art from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor's Degree in Art History from Dickinson College.
