Jason Potter

Jason Potter is a Senior Balancing Intelligence Analyst at National Grid ESO since August 2023, with a proven track record in the defense industry gained from a five-year tenure at BAE Systems, where roles included Senior Consultant and Consultant Analyst, managing projects and a team of consultants. Jason also served as Market Intelligence Lead on secondment to the UK Defence Solutions Centre, developing consultancy skills and producing strategic recommendations for government audiences. Earlier experience includes contributions as a Student Fleet Optimizer at Babcock International Group, an Assistant Reporting Analyst at Aurora Lighting, and a Data Analyst during a placement at Urban Science. Jason holds an MSc in Operational Research from the University of Southampton and a Mathematics degree from the University of Kent.
