Matthew Pearce

Matthew Pearce is an experienced professional in land management and real estate within the energy sector, currently serving as the Head of Land at National Grid since November 2013. In this role, Matthew leads a team responsible for managing existing land rights, developing site strategies, and acquiring new land for projects related to Electricity Transmission and Strategic Infrastructure. Prior to this position at National Grid, Matthew held various leadership roles at WorleyParsons, including Technical Director. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Economics and Policy of Energy and the Environment from UCL, an MSc in Soil and Environmental Pollution from the University of Reading, and a BSc in Chemistry with Industrial Environmental Chemistry from the University of Warwick.
