Omokaro Excel

Omokaro Excel is an experienced civil engineer with a strong background in project management and technical leadership. Currently serving as Project Technical Lead (Civils) at National Grid since October 2025, Omokaro has previously held positions as a Civil Substation Engineer at Balfour Beatty plc and a Civil Design Engineer (highways) at Hartland Nigeria Limited, contributing to major civil engineering projects encompassing highways and stormwater erosion control. Early career experiences include working as a Structural Engineer at Kent Consulting, where Omokaro was involved in the design and construction of small and medium-scale building projects, and as a Trainee Engineer at Hartland Nigeria Limited, assisting with detail drawings and survey data collection. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Civil Engineering from the University of the West of England and a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Benin.
