Paul Garner

Paul Garner currently serves as the Director of Global Procurement IT & Digital at National Grid since February 2023. Prior to this role, Paul was the Global IT Category and Procurement Manager at Volta Trucks, a Swedish automotive company focused on electric trucks. Paul's extensive experience includes a position as EMEA Senior Client Relationship and Category Manager at Accenture, where responsibilities were centered on the banking sector. Previously, Paul held several roles at Honda of the UK Manufacturing Ltd., including IT and Indirect Procurement & Category Manager and IT European Procurement & Category Management Lead. Paul began a career in procurement and supplier management at Transport for London, where significant contributions were made in IT supplier relationship development and contract management. Earlier roles at RWE Supply & Trading GmbH and Cap/Sema Group established foundational expertise in IT procurement and vendor management. Paul holds degrees from London Metropolitan University, Hult International Business School, and Warwick Business School.
