Peter Volpe, P.E. is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in natural gas infrastructure design and management. Currently serving as the Regional Engineering Manager for the Pressure Regulation Design Engineering group at National Grid, Peter leads a team responsible for the design and construction of natural gas regulator stations across Downstate New York. Peter has advanced through various roles within the organization, including Acting Engineering Manager and Team Lead positions, where responsibilities included overseeing mechanical and instrumentation engineers in the development of complex gas network projects. Prior experience includes research as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Maryland and internships in technical and HVAC roles. Peter holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Binghamton University and a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Maryland.
