Rick M. Abraham, MEng. PE, MBA is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in electrical planning, design, and asset management. Currently serving as Lead Engineer for DG Standards & New Technology at National Grid since November 2021, Rick leads the New York Interconnection Technical Working Group and the Smart Inverter Working Group. Previous roles include Lead Engineer and Senior Engineer in Electrical Planning and Design at National Grid, where responsibilities included system planning and asset management. Rick's prior experience spans positions at ATSI, Inc. as an Electrical Senior Staff Engineer, CEM Engineering as an Electrical Engineer, and in various engineering roles at Orascom Telecom and Bangla Trac Ltd. Rick holds an MBA from Clarkson University, a Master's in Nuclear Power Engineering from Ontario Tech University, and a BSc in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology.
