Engineering Manager, Distribution Planning & Asset Management at National Grid

Yolanda Mitchell is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as the Engineering Manager for Distribution Planning and Asset Management at National Grid since November 2018. Previously held positions include Lead Engineer and Senior Engineer within the same department, as well as a Senior Analyst. Prior to National Grid, Yolanda worked as a Site Risk Management Engineer for Exelon Nuclear and as a Nuclear Engineer specializing in Electrical and I&C Design for Entergy. Yolanda owned and operated an electrical contracting firm, FYM Logic, Inc., for over a decade, servicing commercial and residential customers in Central New York. Yolanda is a graduate of Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and is currently completing a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering at Clarkson University, expected in December 2023. Additionally, Yolanda was a member of Leadership Greater Syracuse from 2006 to 2010.
