Daniel Winkler

Daniel Winkler is an accomplished Project Engineer currently employed at National Gypsum Company since January 2024. Prior to this role, Daniel held several positions at USG, including Technical Manager and Plant Engineer, and gained experience as a Project Engineer Co-op. Daniel's academic foundation includes a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Engineering from Penn State University, with a focus on LEAN manufacturing principles and Six Sigma Methodology. During his time at Penn State, Daniel actively participated in six sigma projects and gained practical experience through a Research Engineer Internship at the Applied Research Lab, where contributions included data analytics and prototyping in additive manufacturing. Additional early work experience includes serving as a Dining Room Assistant at the Nittany Lion Inn.
