Emily Phelps is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in strategic and digital communications. Currently serving as the Strategic Communications Manager at the National Health and Medical Research Council since June 2016, Emily has held various roles at the organization, including Digital Manager and Director of Communications (acting). Prior experience includes founding and directing A & E Marketing, serving as a Senior Communications Officer at the Australian Taxation Office, and holding positions at Fairfax Media and The Clean Energy Regulator. Emily's educational background includes a Bachelor of Public Relations and Communications from the University of Canberra and a degree in Event Management and Tourism from the Canberra Institute of Technology.
