Kathy Wu

Kathy Wu is an accomplished medical professional currently serving as a MRFF Lead Investigator at the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) since May 2020. Kathy is also the Founding Head of St Vincent’s Clinical Genomics at St Vincent’s Health Network Sydney and holds positions as an Honorary Scientist at the Garvan Institute of Medical Research and an Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor at The University of Notre Dame Australia. Additionally, Kathy serves as a Conjoint Associate Professor at UNSW Australia and a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Sydney. Previous experience includes roles as a Cancer Geneticist Staff Specialist at Westmead Hospital and a locum Cancer Geneticist at Prince of Wales Hospital. Kathy's educational background includes a Master of Medicine and a medical degree from the University of Sydney, along with fellowships from the Human Genetics Society of Australasia and the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.
