Abubakar Mian

Behavioral Health Care Manager at National Health Corps

Abubakar Mian is currently serving as a Behavioral Health Care Manager at National Health Corps since August 2021. Abubakar has extensive academic and leadership experience, holding multiple roles at the University of Notre Dame, including Research Assistant in the Philosophy Department, President of the Muslim Students' Association, Director of Social Concerns for Student Government, Building Bridges Mentor, SafebouND Student Supervisor with the Notre Dame Police Department, and Teaching Assistant in Philosophy. Abubakar has also contributed as an Advising Fellow at Matriculate and has held various internships, including a Virtual Community Consultant for Social Entrepreneurship, a Fall Intern at The Winch, a Summer Camp Counselor at Camp Sweeney, and a Summer Intern at Reconciliation Services. Abubakar graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, focusing on Arts & Letters Pre-Health.
