Joe C. Wakham Jr.

Joe C. Wakham, Jr. has extensive work experience in financial roles. Joe C. started in 1998 as a Store Manager at Genuine Parts Company before transitioning to an Accountant position at Matlock Clements, P.C. in 2001. From 2005 to 2008, they worked as a Senior Accountant at Jobe, Hastings & Associates. In 2009, they joined National Health Investors as the Director of Financial Reporting until 2019 when they became an Assistant Controller. Currently, they hold the role of Vice President and Controller at National Health Investors.

Joe C. Wakham, Jr. pursued their education at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU), where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Economics & Finance from 1995 to 1998. Building on their undergraduate studies, they went on to complete a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Finance & Accounting from MTSU as well, which they accomplished between 2001 and 2008.
