Andrew Webster

Advisor at National Heart Foundation of Australia

Andrew is originally from rural Western Australia and trained as a medical doctor at the University of Western Australia. During this time, he undertook multiple placements in the Northern Territory through the John Flynn Placement Program and it was through these experiences that he decided to become a GP working in an Aboriginal health setting. After completing his medical degree and combined research degree, Andrew worked in regional WA before relocating permanently to the Northern Territory for specialty training in General Practice. Andrew has additional training in business and management through a Master of Business Administration from the University of Cambridge and is passionate about improving health service design. Andrew continues to work part time as a GP in the Danila Dilba Knuckey Street clinic.
