Amanda Barnett

Amanda Barnett is an experienced culinary professional and educator with a diverse background in both kitchen operations and academic support. Currently serving as a Cook at Brewery Vivant since May 2017, Amanda specializes in a from-scratch kitchen environment and has experience in food presentation and coordination. Additionally, Amanda has worked extensively in educational roles, including as a Paraprofessional at National Heritage Academies, where accommodations and small-group instruction are tailored for at-risk learners. Amanda has also directed a cooking club, taught English Language Learners, and contributed to various extracurricular initiatives. Amanda holds an A.A.A.S. in Culinary Arts from Grand Rapids Community College, an ESL endorsement from Grand Valley State University, and a BA in Language Arts from Hope College.
