Athletic Director And Physical Education Teacher at National Heritage Academies

Jay Cohen has a range of work experience in various roles. Jay began working as a Manager Head Tennis Professional/College Tennis Coach at Turningstone Resort and Hamilton College in October 2012. During their tenure, they managed the Sportsplex and Tower Fitness at the resort and served as an Assistant Tennis Coach for Hamilton College's Men's and Women's Tennis Teams. In 2016, Jay joined AFSC/Magellan Federal as an Adaptive Reconditioning Coordinator, a position they held until 2018. Following that, they worked as an Adaptive Physical Education Teacher at the ICD for The Research Foundation for SUNY from April 2018 to March 2020. Currently, Jay is employed as an Athletic Director and Physical Education Teacher at National Heritage Academies, a position they started in March 2020.

Jay Cohen holds a Master's Degree in Sports Administration and Physical Education from Mississippi State University. Jay also has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology/Business from Texas State University. In addition, Jay has obtained certifications in Functional Movement Screen FMS Level 1 from Functional Movement Systems in 2012, and in Health and Physical Education from the New York State Education Department in 1996.
