National Heritage Academies
Zach Welsh is an experienced language educator with a robust background in teaching and curriculum development. Currently serving as a Spanish Language Instructor at National Heritage Academies since August 2021, Zach has developed an original curriculum to support over 600 K-8 students. Previously, as an English Language Learning Specialist, Zach mentored multilingual learners and collaborated with teachers to enhance instruction. With experience as a Learning Specialist and Curriculum Designer at Instituto Interculturas, Zach led a team of English teachers and designed training programs. Additionally, roles as an English Language Assistant with Xunta de Galicia and various positions with Instituto Interculturas, VIPKID, and eHailuo have solidified proficient English teaching practices. Zach holds a Master's degree in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from the University of North Carolina Asheville.
