Corey Barlet is an Engineer at the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) since June 2022. Prior to this role, Corey served as a Project Engineer at MGA Research Co. from January 2018 to June 2022 and completed an Engineer Internship at Safran Landing Systems in June 2017, focusing on refurbishing processes for landing gear shock absorber tubes. Additionally, Corey contributed to the education sector as a Course Instructor for SySTEMic solutions from 2015 to 2016, developing and teaching Arduino programming and AutoCAD Inventor courses for high school students at Northern Virginia Community College. Corey holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from West Virginia University, obtained in 2017.
