Kerry Kolodziej is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in litigation and enforcement. Currently serving as the Assistant Chief Counsel for Litigation and Enforcement at the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) since January 2012, Kerry has also held positions such as Trial Attorney and Acting Assistant Chief Counsel within the same agency. Prior to NHTSA, Kerry was an Associate in the Environmental & Litigation Practice Areas at Mayer Brown from September 2005 to November 2011, and a Public Interest Law Initiative Fellow at the Chicago Appleseed Fund for Justice in 2005. Earlier legal roles include serving as a Research Assistant in the Federal Legislation Clinic and a Law Fellow in the Legal Research and Writing Department at Georgetown University Law Center, where Kerry earned a JD. Educational background includes a BA in Political Science & International Studies from Northwestern University.
