Jonathan West has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Jonathan began their career in 2007 as an Electrical Apprentice at Okeeffe Electrical Systems, where they worked until 2008. In 2009, they transitioned to Ellis Guilford School & Sports College as an IT/Audio Visual Technician until 2012. Following that, they joined The Nottingham Belfry Hotel as a Casual C&B Assistant for a brief period. In 2010, Jonathan took on the role of a Door Supervisor at Showsec until 2014. From 2012 to 2022, they worked at the National Ice Centre & Motorpoint Arena Nottingham, where they held several positions, starting as a 1st Line IT Support Analyst and progressing to Deputy IT Manager, IT Manager, and finally Head of IT.

Jonathan West's education history is as follows:

- From 2017 to 2019, they attended GB Training and pursued an Advanced Level Apprenticeship in IT, Software, Web & Telecoms Professionals.

- In the same period, they also studied at GB Training and obtained a Cisco CCNA certification.

- In 2016, they attended Mercury Training and focused on Management.

- From 2009 to 2011, they studied at South Nottingham College and specialized in IT Practitioner.

- In 2007 and 2008, they pursued an Electrical Apprenticeship at Loughborough College.
