Sam Webster

Sam Webster serves as the Vice President of Strategy and Business Performance at Co-op Group and is an elected National Council Member representing the East Midlands on the Co-op National Members Council. Additionally, Sam holds multiple Non Executive Director positions, including roles at Co-operatives UK, where expertise is provided to support co-operative enterprises, the National Ice Centre & Motorpoint Arena Nottingham, where Sam chairs the Remuneration Committee, Tuntum Housing Association, and Nottingham City Homes Group. Previously, Sam served as Vice Chair at Notts & Lincs Credit Union and provided peer mentoring support to local authorities through the Local Government Association. Sam also has experience as a Non Executive Director at Nottingham Revenues and Benefits Limited and SCAPE, and was a Councillor for Nottingham City Council from April 2013 to May 2023. Educational qualifications include a BA(Hons) in Government and Politics from Nottingham Trent University.
