Leslie Summers-Day

Leslie Summers-Day has a diverse professional background in education, recruiting, and learning development. Currently working in Learning & Development at National Indemnity Company since October 2022, Leslie previously held recruiting positions at EmpowerHR and Vensure Employer Services in 2022. Prior to that, experience as a Preschool Teacher at Countryside Community Church and as an Educator across various institutions, including Millard Public Schools and the Archdiocese of Omaha, provided a strong foundation in educational practices. Leslie also owned and operated L Specialty Baking, managing numerous aspects of the business, and served as a Technical Artist II at Hallmark Cards, where creative and impactful materials were developed for corporate training. Educational qualifications include a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Doane University and a degree in Journalism, Advertising from the University of Kansas.
