Joe Whyte

Joe Whyte is an experienced procurement professional with a diverse background in various Australian government departments. Currently serving as Acting Director of Procurement at the National Indigenous Australians Agency since July 2022, Joe has held multiple roles in procurement, including Contracting Manager at the Australian Department of Defence and Senior Procurement Officer at the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. Additional experience includes leadership positions in strategic procurement at the Department of Parliamentary Services and senior roles in other departments, culminating in expertise in ICT procurement with the Australian Government Department of Finance. Joe holds an Advanced Diploma and a Diploma in Procurement and Contracting from Pro Leaders Academy, along with a Certificate IV in Government (Procurement and Contracting) from the Canberra Institute of Technology.
