Timothy Cox is an experienced professional currently serving as the Director of Systems and Data at the National Indigenous Australians Agency since January 2017, with previous roles including Acting Director of Data Capability. Prior to this, Timothy held the position of Assistant Director of Systems and Reporting at the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, focusing on performance reporting and evaluation tools. Timothy also worked as a Business and Data Analyst at the Australian Department of Immigration and Border Protection, where responsibilities included developing performance data marts and enhancing monitoring capabilities. Further experience includes a role as Compliance and Debt Recovery Officer at the Department of Resources, Energy and Tourism, and as National Finance Officer for the Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions, where Timothy conducted complex data analysis and financial reporting. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Charles Sturt University and an Associate’s Degree in Business/Commerce from the Canberra Institute of Technology.
