Wilson Byekwaso CISSP, MBA, ITIL4, VCP-CMA, AZURE, MCP has a wealth of experience in managing IT operations and infrastructure in various organizations such as National Information and Technology Authority-Uganda, MTN, Nakasero Hospital Ltd, and Deloitte East Africa. Currently serving as the Manager Data Centre at NITA-U, Wilson leads a team of IT professionals and vendors, overseeing technology operations and implementing advanced IT systems. Wilson's expertise includes managing cloud IT infrastructure, Microsoft Environment, and aligning technology strategies with business objectives. Wilson is currently pursuing an Msc. in Computer Science with a focus on Cyber Security from the University of Sunderland.

The National Information Technology Authority, Uganda (NITA-U) is an autonomous statutory body established under the NITA-U Act of 2009 coordinate, promote and monitor Information Technology(IT) developments in Uganda within the context of National Social and Economic development. Under the general supervision of the Ministry of ICT & National Guidance, NITA-U focuses on enabling Government-wide efficiency and transforming citizens’ lives through e-Services delivery.
