Sue Huff is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in behavioral therapy and eating disorder support. Currently serving as a Therapeutic Assistant at Edmonton Catholic Schools since March 2024, Sue also plays a pivotal role as Co-chair for the Caregiver Support Pillar of the Canadian Strategy on Eating Disorders and as a Board Member for the National Initiative for Eating Disorders. Sue has operated as a self-employed presenter since June 2018, offering workshops on emotional de-escalation and eating disorder empowerment. Previous roles include Parent Mentor/Caregiver Coach at Alberta Wellness Center for Eating Disorders and Recovery College and Peer School Coordinator for the Canadian Mental Health Association - Edmonton Region. As the former Executive Director of the Eating Disorder Support Network of Alberta, Sue managed all operational aspects of the organization. Early career highlights include a Communications Advisor position at United Way of the Alberta Capital Region and work as a freelance actor and voice-over talent. Educational qualifications include a BA from the University of Alberta and various certifications in mediation and peer support.
