Colin Clarke

Colin Clarke is an accomplished academic and researcher currently serving as an Associate Professor at University College Dublin since September 2019 and as an SFI Principal Investigator at the National Institute for Bioprocessing Research and Training since September 2014. Colin's prior experience includes a postdoctoral position at Dublin City University from February 2009 to August 2014, focusing on an SFI-funded project in collaboration with Pfizer that explored the biological mechanisms of Chinese hamster ovary cells. Additionally, Colin worked as a postdoc at Dublin Institute of Technology from October 2007 to February 2009, where responsibilities included applying multivariate statistics in a proof of concept study for diagnosing cervical cancer. Colin Clarke holds a PhD and a Master’s degree in Bioinformatics, both obtained from Cranfield University.
