Hannah Rushe, PhD, is a seasoned bioprocessing trainer at NIBRT National Institute for Bioprocessing Research and Training since April 2022, focusing on the development and delivery of training materials related to GMP Manufacturing and Regulations. In September 2023, Hannah began a role as a lecturer on Molecular Engineering of ATMP's at Atlantic Technological University, enhancing critical thinking skills through module design and exam preparation. Previously, as a postdoctoral researcher at University College Dublin, Hannah developed a novel rapid diagnostic for Covid-19 and Influenza using recombinant DNA technology, and during a PhD program at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, contributed to a patent-pending therapeutic for haemophilia, earning the RCSI innovation award in 2019. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Vascular Biology from RCSI, a Master’s in Biotherapeutics from University College Dublin, and a Bachelor’s in Immunology from Trinity College Dublin, complemented by a QQI Level 6 certificate in Training Delivery and Evaluation.
