Lisa Strasser is a Research Fellow at National Institute since April 2019, focusing on developing novel analytical approaches for characterizing adeno-associated viruses (AAVs) for gene therapy applications. Prior to this role, Lisa served as a Postdoctoral Researcher, creating a high-performance assay kit to detect problematic host cell proteins in antibody products. Experience includes a position as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Systems Biology Ireland, where research centered on the effects of oncogenic mutations on signaling pathways, and as a PhD student at Universität Salzburg, with a thesis on quantitative proteomics in allergic immune responses. Lisa Strasser earned a Dr. rer. nat. degree in Molecular Biology from Paris Lodron Universität Salzburg in 2017.
