Seren Hamsici

Seren Hamsici, PhD, is a skilled researcher with a focus in biomedical engineering and materials science. Currently serving as a Postdoctoral Researcher at NIBRT National Institute for Bioprocessing Research and Training since August 2025, Seren previously held a similar role at Trinity College Dublin from January 2023 to August 2025. Prior experience includes a position as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Oklahoma from January 2019 to December 2022 and a Researcher role at Bilkent University between September 2014 and January 2017. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma and a Master of Science in Materials Science and Nanotechnology from Bilkent University, alongside dual Bachelor's degrees in Bioengineering from Istanbul Technical University and Montana State University-Bozeman.
