Project Director, Dept. Of Health Equity Innovation at National Institute for Children's Health Quality (NICHQ)

Michelle Edison, MPH, MS, currently serves as a mentor for the New to Public Health Residency Program while also holding the position of Director of Network Development at Pathways Community HUB Institute since September 2022. With a focus on children's health, Michelle has contributed as a Community Engagement Expert Faculty at the National Institute for Children's Health Quality and previously directed health equity strategies at Mahoning County Public Health from 2016 to 2022. Early career achievements include launching innovative public health models and community outreach programs at the YMCA. Education credentials include a Doctor of Public Health in progress at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and two master's degrees in Public Health and Exercise Physiology from Youngstown State University and West Virginia University, respectively.
