Sarah Mercado

Sarah Mercado currently serves as the Director of Strategic Initiatives at the National Institute for Metalworking Skills since November 2023. Previously, Sarah held the position of Director of Career Pathway Services at Manufacturing Renaissance from August 2022 to November 2023. Sarah's extensive experience in program development includes a role as Manager of Program Development and @Work Manager at Youth Guidance, where initiatives focused on building student skills and professional connections. Additional roles include Curriculum Specialist and Career Specialist at Youth Guidance, Founding Special Projects Coordinator at UP Education Network, College Prep Academy Coordinator at Boston Public Schools, and Community Engagement Associate at Urban Edge. Sarah holds a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from Macalester College.
