Diego López Abril

Diego López Abril is a seasoned professional in information technology and engineering, with extensive experience in cybersecurity, software development, and data analysis. Currently serving as a Senior Technologist at the Instituto Nacional de Técnica Aeroespacial since July 2022, Diego is engaged in security, communications, and software projects. As a lecturer at COIT since November 2018, Diego teaches SQL and NoSQL databases and has been part of the Master in Cyberdefense program at Universidad de Alcalá since June 2016, focusing on Big Data and Open-source Intelligence. Previous roles include Senior Information Technology System Engineer at the European Space Agency, Security Architect at Airbus Defence and Space, and various engineering positions at Isdefe, INSA, and Indra, highlighting expertise in cybersecurity, machine learning, and software systems engineering.
