Andrea Wikiera

Andrea Wikiera is a Biological Science Specialist at the USDA National Institute of Food and Agriculture, a position held since September 2021. Previously, Andrea co-owned KC Pretzel Boy's from January 2017 to May 2022. Andrea contributed to the University of Missouri Extension from December 2013 to September 2021 as a Field Specialist in 4-H Youth Development, focusing on youth and volunteer development programs. Other roles include FNEP Program Manager, where Andrea coordinated the administration of the Urban West regional FNEP unit, and Nutrition Program Associate, teaching nutrition and food safety to low-income Missourians. Andrea's experience also includes serving as an AmeriCorps VISTA Garden Coordinator at Hillcrest Transitional Housing, an Environmental Educator with the Maryland Park Service, and a Field Research Technician at Washington University in St. Louis. Andrea holds a Master’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Truman State University.
