Libby M Bernal has a diverse range of work experience spanning several companies and roles. Currently, they serve as a Biological Science Specialist-Data Analyst at the USDA National Institute of Food and Agriculture. Prior to that, they worked as a Principal Consultant at SolvingNow LLC. Libby M also has experience at Cargill, where they held the positions of Global Innovation and Strategic Partnerships Consultant, and Sr Analyst Strategy and Portfolio Management at Cargill Animal Health & Nutrition. Libby's earlier experience includes roles at BASF as a Competitive Intelligence and Intellectual Asset Portfolio Manager, and as a Senior Scientist. Libby M began their career as a Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of Guelph. Libby's expertise includes data analysis, consulting, strategic planning, and research and teaching in agriculture and crop physiology.

Libby M Bernal holds a Master's Degree in Biotechnology, which they obtained from the University of Guelph between 1997 and 2000. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Biology at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana from 1986 to 1991. In addition to their academic degrees, they also obtained a certification as a Competitive Intelligence Professional (CIP-I) from the Fuld-Gilad-Herring Academy of Competitive Intelligence in June 2014.
