Shoichi Koyama

Shoichi Koyama is an Associate Professor at both the National Institute of Informatics and The Graduate University for Advanced Studies, SOKENDAI, since April 2023. Before this, Koyama served as a Lecturer and Research Associate at The University of Tokyo from April 2014 to March 2023. Koyama also held the position of Visiting Researcher at Université Paris Diderot / Institut Langevin between April 2016 and March 2018, and worked as a Researcher at NTT Media Intelligence Laboratories from April 2009 to March 2014. Koyama earned a Ph.D. in Information Science and Technology from The University of Tokyo, following a Master of Engineering in Information Physics and Computing and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mathematical Engineering and Information Physics from the same institution.
