Lucian Filip

Lucian Filip, PhD, is a researcher at the National Institute of Materials Physics since September 2010, focusing on theoretical modelling of ferroelectric materials, particularly in the context of anisotropic conduction and hysteresis phenomena. Prior to this, Lucian served as a research officer at the Advanced Technology Institute from September 2009 to September 2010, specializing in the theoretical modelling of field emission processes from carbon nanotubes and multilayered heterostructures. Lucian completed a PhD in Physics at the University of Surrey from October 2005 to June 2009, with a thesis titled "Modelling of field emission and tunnelling processes for carbon nanotubes and multilayered structures," and holds a Licence Diploma in Physics from the University of Bucharest, earned between 2001 and 2005.
