Yang Guo is a Senior Computer Scientist at the National Institute of Standards and Technology since June 2015. Prior to this role, Yang Guo served as a Member of Technical Staff at Bell Labs from 2010 to June 2015, focusing on service infrastructure research. Yang Guo also held the position of Principal Scientist at Technicolor from 2005 to 2010. Yang Guo earned a Ph.D. in computer networking, multimedia content distribution and system design, and performance evaluation from the University of Massachusetts Amherst between 1995 and 2000.
