Maria Carter

Maria Carter is an experienced professional with a diverse background in project and program management, particularly within the education and tourism sectors. Currently serving as the Contracts and Procurement Manager at the National Institute of Teaching since March 2025, Maria previously held the position of Senior Project and Program Manager at nasen, where responsibilities included overseeing contracts and initiatives supporting professionals in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Additional expertise encompasses child psychology, inclusive education, and leadership in equity and diversity. Maria has also contributed to organizations such as Globuc and CTAgency, managing high-profile projects and events, and has a foundation in entrepreneurship through the establishment of Say Hello, a consultancy and language center.
