VP & Manager of Claims Analytics in Global Retail Markets-U.S. for Liberty Mutual at National Insurance Crime Bureau

Ms. Kim is Senior Vice President and Manager of Claims Analytics in Global Retail Markets-U.S. for Liberty Mutual. She joined the NICB Board of Governors in 2022.

In this role, Ms. Kim leads a collaborative team in Claims Insights who strategizes, develops, and implements solutions for Claims for its needs in data, reporting, analytics, advanced modeling, and capacity and forecasting. Prior to her current role in January 2021, she was Senior Vice President and Manager of Claims Shared Services, where she led Claims Service Centers, Subrogation, Salvage and Claims Support operations with 1,200+ employees across Plano, Texas; Liberty Lake, Wash.; and virtual locations. She joined GRM US Claims in 2015 as Manager of Claims Technology & Digital Product Management, where she was responsible for GRM US Claims Governing Portfolio with an annual IT budget of about $100M. Ms. Kim joined Liberty Mutual in 2006 as a Senior Business Consultant in Corporate Development Program (CDP) and has held other positions of Manager of Underwriting Operations, Process and Reporting in Commercial Markets SBU in 2010; and Vice President and Manager of LMS Corporate Deployment in Talent & Enterprise Services in 2012. During her tenure, she led her teams to execute on LMS Transformation to 20+ business areas in Actuarial, Investments, Legal, Finance, and HR functions across SBU and Corporate.

Ms. Kim received B.A. in Mathematics and Economics from Cornell University, M.S. in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from the University of California at Berkeley, and M.S. in Finance from Boston College.
