Bob Schell

Bob Schell has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Bob currently works as the Director of Research Computing & Informatics at National Jewish Health. In this role, they are responsible for establishing and executing the research IT strategic plan. Prior to this, Bob worked at the University of Colorado Denver | Office of Information Technology, where they held various roles including Director of Research and Shared Services and Director of Development and Informatics Service Center. Bob also worked as the Director of Information Technology at CSPH and as a LAN Administrator. Before joining the University of Colorado, Bob worked at Lucent Technologies as the Shop IT Lead and Technician and at Motorola Solutions as a Software Engineer.

Bob Schell received their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from The University of Kansas from 2002 to 2006. Prior to this, they attended Northern Illinois University from 1991 to 1992, but did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study. In 2012, Bob obtained the ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL).
