Kendra Walton is an experienced genomics manager and senior researcher with a strong background in molecular biology and genetics. At National Jewish Health since January 2014, Kendra has taken on responsibilities in managing genomics projects and executing related research. Prior to this role, Kendra worked at The Stowers Institute for Medical Research from October 2003 to December 2013 as a senior research technician, leading efforts in high throughput Next Generation Sequencing and training staff. Kendra's earlier experience includes serving as a research technician I at Children's Mercy Hospital from October 2000 to October 2003, where Kendra contributed to molecular genetics research and trained new employees. Kendra holds a B.S. in Biology with a focus in Genetics from The University of Kansas, obtained between 1997 and 2000.
